A brand new book published by Steven Michael Farney, of McPherson, Kansas. The book is a history of the Class BB boys basketball state champions of Kansas. The Class BB in Kansas reigned from 1952 until 1968 when the class was dropped. The book features 16 small schools in Kansas who were state champions during those years of 1952 to 1968. The first year 1952 was Brookville, Kansas. The other schools in the book are Burns;Burdett;Montezuma;Dorrance;Tescott;Rolla;Rozel;Quenemo;Wilsey;Winoma;Durham;Mullinville;Strong City;Dwight;Dwight;Brewster. Each year is shown with team picture and individual games played. Book features lots of stats on the players and the teams. State tournament bracket is shown for each school. A great history book on the basketball champs of Kansas.

Author Bio:Farney was born & raised in Wilson, KS. He was a 3-year basketball letterman at Wilson High School & after graduation attended Kansas State University as a basketball walk-on. After two unsuccessful attempts at making the Wildcat team, Farney transferred to St. Mary of the Plains College. After one season with the Cavaliers, he transferred back to K-State and graduated in 1977 with a degree in history & secondary education. He then embarked on a 25-year career in music, where he has recorded original music & has had choral arrangements of his music both published and recorded. All the while, he maintained a very active interest in Kansas sports & Sunflower State History. "Title Towns" is the first in a series of Kansas basketball history books to be written by the author. Currently he lives in McPherson, KS.
